Coming back to the same painting...again and again.

I recently completed a third and fourth painting from the same reference photo.  I was a little surprised to see that the photo, taken by Gloria Warren, is dated 2007 which means I most likely completed the first painting in this series over 10 years ago!  I thought it might be fun to see all of it's versions in one place!

The last two versions were completed as class demos.  Click below to learn more about taking a class we me in either my Uxbridge or Worcester, MA studio or join one of my classes at the Worcester Art Museum or Tower Hill Botanic Garden.

This is the first painting.  Sorry for the terrible image...it's actually a scan of a photocopy!  This painting was completed in oil on a 16 X 20 inch stretched canvas.
